"The Morty"
"The Morty" was a seasonal collaboration product between Momofuku's Bāng Bar and Black Seed Bagels. Created in 2019, it was sold in multiple venues across NYC. I contributed R&D to this product and took inspiration from a Bāng Bar best-selling breakfast item; a Korean twisted donut called a kkwabaegi. The Morty showcased the best of Bāng Bar's breakfast repertoire while also bringing a fresh + twisty take to a NYC breakfast bagel! Check out this Gothamist article to read more.
